Why Waste works closely with the regional Community Recycling Network team to promote the service to community waste initiatives across the region. This has lead to many successful exchanges. For example, Bradford University who are redeveloping their campus, were matched with furniture reuse projects across the region. This meant that 1500 items of furniture, otherwise destined for landfill were given a new lease of life.
