10: Second sitting for redundant dining chairs

York Steiner School gave 80 dining chairs a second chance after Ripon Race Course decided that they were surplus to requirements.   The independent school does not charge fees and therefore has limited funds for new equipment. The school could not believe their luck when they saw the chairs advertised on Why Waste and snapped them up quickly.   Nicky Kingsley, the School Secretary said   "..."it's the first time we've had matching chairs in our meeting room, and we're all so pleased with them".
